For office and industrial property types last period is quarterly (comparison of 2Q 2010 vs. 1Q 2010). For retail, the last period is second half of 2009 compared to the first half of 2010.
- Over the last three years, four retail submarkets of 29 countywide and two office submarkets of 30 countywide have recorded a decrease in direct vacancy rate.
- Over the last year, 15 retail submarkets of 29 countywide, 12 office submarkets of 30 countywide and eight industrial submarkets of 25 countywide have recorded a decrease in direct vacancy rate.
- Over the last period (over the last quarter for office and industrial and over the last six months for retail), 20 retail submarkets, 12 office and 14 industrial submarkets have recorded a decrease in direct vacancy rate showing signs of improvement in tenant occupancy.
